TRAM Accepts National Railroad Contractor Safety Award

2015 NRC Safety Award Recipients

TRAM Construction was pleased to accept the Platinum level 2015 NRC/RT&S Railroad Contractor Safety Award at the 2016 National Railroad Construction & Maintenance Association (NRC) conference in San Diego, California last month.

Underwritten by Commercial Insurance Associates, this award seeks to recognize those NRC contractor members with strong workplace safety programs. Participation in the contest increased this year, with 51 rail contracting companies from across the United States preparing entries.

TRAM was acknowledged at the Platinum level (100 out of 100 points) for our extensive efforts to promote and improve safety in the rail contracting industry, and for subjecting our full safety program and range of practices to an outside review. We are pleased to be recognized among companies that represent the very best of the NRC and the entire railroad construction and maintenance industry.

This award reflects TRAM’s commitment to developing and sustaining a culture of safety within our workforce. It is an award we are honored to accept. We thank our employees for their hard work, performance, and daily devotion to safety.

We look forward to continued success in promoting and improving our safety program throughout the year.
